Communications Design Minor ~ Overview

The Communications Design Minor provides you with an opportunity to explore your particular interests in web design, instructional design, animation design, publication design, and multimedia design. You will first take a one-unit ProSeminar course to begin the program. You will then take one lower-division course and four upper-division courses that fulfill minor Learning Outcomes (LOs).

The Communications Design Minor formally recognizes that the School of Information Technology and Communications Design has an obligation to provide high-quality educational opportunities to all CSUMB students who want a deeper understanding of information technology and digital content development in order to enhance their learning experiences and career opportunities.

Integration with Majors

The Communications Design Minor provides the opportunity to integrate knowledge of print, screen, and motion design into your major coursework. It provides high-quality educational opportunities to all CSUMB students who want a deeper understanding of information technology and digital content development in order to make informed contributions to their community using computer technology.
