Human Performance and Wellness, B.S. ~ Academic Advising and Support Services

HPW Students craft their academic programs and career development strategies with guidance from faculty, staff, and seasoned mentors from the local community.

HPW faculty members hold several advising workshops each semester immediately before course registration. Designated HPW faculty and staff members meet individually with majors, pre-majors, and prospective majors throughout the academic year and during much of the summer.

Our students also take advantage of universitywide services relating to health and wellness, including:

  • Academic Skills Achievement Program (ASAP)
  • Migrant Student Support Services (MSSS)
  • Office of International Programs (OIP)
  • Personal Growth and Counseling Center (PGCC)
  • Student Disability Resources (SDR)
